Quik-tool Automated PCB Support

|
|

|
CTI’s Post Vision Workstation
offers a solution that is compact, cost effective and eliminates the need
to manually remove the board from the conveyor. The CW-AOI-1.2M presents a
novel approach to handling reject boards in-line.
Incorporating a two level
pneumatic lift mechanism, the workstation functions as a standard conveyor
passing good product between the inspection machine and the downstream
machine. If an

Quik-tool Automatic PCB
Support Tooling is the ideal choice for manufacturers requiring quick and
accurate support tool changeover for their PCB production. With Quik-tool,
what used to take 10-20 minutes is now accomplished in under 30 seconds.
Quik-tool runs on the most
reliable control system available in either manual or automatic mode,
eliminating the need to make manual adjustments when performing product
changeover. Operators no longer need to reset and correct support pin
locations. Just set it and forget it.

issue is detected during
inspection, a signal is passed to the workstation and the workstation lifts
the pcb to the upper level for the operator to resolve the problem. Good
boards following behind the reject board continue to flow unencumbered
beneath the board under repair. Once the issue is corrected and the
operator signals the station to release the repaired board, it is lowered
to the main level and passed downstream.

worries are a thing of the past. Quik-tool uses high grade, polished
stainless steel support pins. The pin locking mechanism is isolated from
the shafts to prevent lubricant contamination of the pins. OPTI-FLOW
Technology allows you to add or remove modules without making air flow adjustments.
Quik-tool
beats the competition with 400% greater pin locking force, standard
high-density pin pitch and larger pin top support area.

Consistent with CTI’s high
quality manufacturing and design, the workstation includes the following
standard features:
